Labrador Retriever Share my life, A beauty of a breed- Courageous and protective, Yet gentle as can be. Active dogs that love to play, With friendly, loving ways- Sure to fill the house with fun, And brighten all my days. My Labrador Retriever Are friends that can´t be beat, Being loved by these big "Labs" Makes my life complete.

I fell in love with labradors in 1983 after I bought on the market in Antwerp, Belgium, my first Labrador, yes I know, this is not the right place to buy a labrador, but that is what happened. She was a yellow bitch and through her I became addicted to the breed.
We called her BUBBLES and thats how our kennelname BUBBLES ROOTS was named in 1986.

At the Worlddogshow 1985 in Amsterdam I came in contact with the late Mrs. Marjorie Satterthwaite of the Lawnwoods Labradors. We visited her kennel and Lawnwoods Stormella came to live with us at Bubbles Roots. Our first litter was born in September 1987 by Ch. Wetherlam Kestrel and Lawnwoods Stormella, out of the litter we kept Bubbles Roots Adoring Davita, a black bitch.

In 1988 we received Ballyduff Kuni out of Mrs. Sheeling Cuthbert's Ballyduff kennel. Kuni was mated to Lyndhurst Pedro and in March 1993 Bubbles Roots Handsome Penelope and Bubbles Roots Handsome Zsa-Zsa were born.
In 1994 Bubbles Roots Jolly Good Souvenir and Bubbles Roots Jolly Good Fellow were born out of Ballyduff Kuni and Ch. Lyndhurst Quite Audacious.

In 2000 we mated Bubbles roots Jolly Good Souvenir to Ballyduff Comma and in November Bubbles Roots Nouveau Riche was born.

There is no doubt that Ballyduff Kuni was THE important bitch for our kennel, unfortunately she died during surgery.

Our goal always has been and always will be to achieve sound and healthy Labradors, will to please and lovely companions to live with.
